Terms of Service & Acceptable Use

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By accessing or using the EasyApply platform (“easyapply.ie”, “EasyApply”, “we”, “our”), whether as a guest utilizing our free career utilities or as a registered account holder, you enter into a legally binding agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

You must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your country of residence) to create an account and authorize job application dispatches.

2. Responsible Automation & Acceptable Use Policy

EasyApply is an autonomous candidate assistive cockpit designed to streamline genuine job search workflows. To preserve ecosystem integrity and employer trust, you agree that you will not:

• Deploy automation to spam employers with fraudulent, fabricated, or malicious application payloads.
• Submit misleading, false, or impersonated qualifications, credentials, or work experience.
• Bypass platform rate limits, security safeguards, CAPTCHA mechanisms, or reverse engineer proprietary ATS parsers.
• Utilize EasyApply for unauthorized commercial reselling or automated candidate harvesting without an Agency license.

You acknowledge that you bear ultimate responsibility for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of every resume, personalized cover letter, and screening question answer submitted in your name.

3. Account Security & Credentials

When you connect third-party platform credentials (e.g., LinkedIn session tokens or Workday profile accounts) into the local or cloud cockpit, these credentials are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 and stored strictly within your secure user tenancy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your master password and OAuth session tokens. You must immediately notify support@easyapply.ie of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Candidate Data Ownership & AI Rights

You retain 100% ownership of all resumes, cover letters, career history files, and behavioral stories you upload or generate through EasyApply. We claim zero intellectual property rights over your application materials.

We do not sell candidate resumes, personal emails, phone numbers, or application logs to recruiters, advertisers, or third-party data brokers. Candidate materials are processed solely to calculate ATS match scores, generate tailored bullet points, and dispatch verified applications.

5. Third-Party Portals & ATS Compliance

EasyApply interacts with third-party hiring systems, including Workday, LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Lever, Indeed, and Ashby. While we optimize submission formatting and maintain high delivery rates, EasyApply is an independent software tool not officially affiliated with or endorsed by these third-party corporations.

You agree to comply with the terms of service of each respective hiring portal when authorizing applications through EasyApply.

6. Subscriptions, Billing & 14-Day Refund Guarantee

Paid tiers (Pro Automation, Career Accelerator, and Agency) are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All fees are transparent with zero hidden setup charges.

You can cancel your subscription at any time with a single click in your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the active billing cycle.

7. GDPR Data Protection (Dublin, Ireland)

As an Irish entity based in Dublin, EasyApply adheres strictly to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

Under GDPR Articles 15 through 22, you possess the right to access your personal data, request rectification of inaccurate records, export your complete application history via our /api/gdpr/export endpoint, and execute full erasure under Article 17.

8. Limitation of Liability & Service Availability

EasyApply is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and accurate ATS keyword scoring, we cannot guarantee specific interview callback ratios or employment outcomes, as hiring decisions remain at the sole discretion of employers.

9. Account Termination & Right to Erasure

You may terminate your account at any time through the Settings tab or by submitting an erasure request to legal@easyapply.ie. Upon termination, all stored resumes, draft applications, and session tokens are permanently purged from active production databases in accordance with our data retention schedule.

10. Governing Law & Legal Contact

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dublin, Ireland.
